We invite the most fascinating teachers and speakers on earth to present workshops
in their fields of expertise. Then we find a heavenly location
to hold the workshop in and arrange for the best and most reasonably
priced group accommodations.
We scout out local restaurants, extra-curricular events, classes, adventures, tours, galleries, yoga,
massage, healers and other alternative health treatments; anything and everything
that will add to the total travel experience for our workshop participants.
Our founder, astrologer Evelyn Roberts, is a world traveler
who delights in combining learning, travel, community building,
and the exploration of all "roads less travelled". Whether
you have travelled extensively or never stepped beyond your own
backyard,
Heaven and Earth Workshops provides a rich, safe, exciting and comfortable
environment in which you can absorb and enjoy local flavors and
customs while learning about a topic of interest to you.
Originally entitled "Astrology In Bali", Heaven and Earth
Workshops is moving into its 6th year, and we have held 10 successful programmes to date
on the tropical island of Bali... with new horizons being charted in other lands.
During a two-month visit to Bali in 2004, Evelyn fell in love with
the island and its people, and decided to make her home
there. Her desires to support the community, create a viable livelihood
and share this paradise with others, combined with her past experience
organizing astrology workshops in California, resulted in "Astrology
In Bali". Numerous well attended astrology workshops later,
and the idea of embracing a wider spectrum of topics, ideas, and
locations evolved into the creation of Heaven and Earth Workshops.
As
home to the organiser and other key players, Bali continues to
be the base of operations, and astrology as the
central topic. However, our dreams and schemes have extended from
the mystical "Island of the Gods" to the charming English countryside and the romantic high desert of Mexico. There are now workshops scheduled in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and Shropshire England in 2010. And that
is only just
the beginning...
