Rahasia Manis is a property inspired by a great love for Bali and an appreciation for all it has to offer through it's natural beauty and the inherent craftsmanship and creativity of its people.
Located near the village of Bayad, in a cooler, quieter location than most tourist spots, it is nestled between the rice fields and jungle. There are several cottages, houses, and rooms from reclaimed teak from Java.
For larger events we team up with our partners who own a property named Hati Suci. The below information is for when someone requires a larger venue.
There are 2 pools, abundant vegetable gardens and native fruit trees in this paradise named. Since the gardens began flourishing, our restaurant has come into being, specializing in locally grown traditional Balinese foods as well as comfort foods from other cultures.
There is a large open-air meeting hall, two saltwater swimming pools, and can comfortably accommodate 24 guests, with 15 private rooms; some with koi ponds, outdoor kitchens, and open-ceiling stone bathrooms with terrazzo tubs and showers.
Tranquility abounds, and yet, nearby Ubud is lively, with restaurants, shops, spas, yoga, cooking, batik and art classes along with many healing modalities. It has several art galleries and a museum. Evenings offer Balinese dance performances, ceremonies and Gamelan.
We are located one and a half hour drive from the airport, one hour from the nearest beaches and half an hour from Kintamani, which is on the edge of the volcano, Mount Batur. The surrounding rice fields and jungle are themselves a nurturing and tranquil setting. Higher than Ubud, towards the foothills of the volcano, it is tropical but not as hot as the beach areas. There are less mosquitoes but wildlife is abundant.
What began as a dream became a reality with commitment, hard work, and a love and respect for the land and her people. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place to relax, learn, and become refreshed.
