Robert Brown
was born with the gift of mediumship, his first experiences as a very young child eventually led him to further develop his gifts. Starting in earnest as a teenager, he attended development classes at the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain, his tutors were Gaye Muir and Ivy Northage. Later he joined the home development circle of medium Peter Close, a wonderful group that produced a number of mediums working today, Robert went on to run the circle during Peter's many travels abroad. Darby Costello studied psychology, philosophy and theology in America in the mid 1960s, and during the late 60's began to study astrology in Boston, first with Frances Sakoian and Louis Acker and then with Isabel Hickey. She then went to South Africa where she worked in a small museum dedicated to educating people to the richness of the indiginous cultures. For seven years she lived and worked with sangomas, the shamans and healers of southern Africa. Building her own astrological practice while immersed in this work opened up conversations with the sangomas that would have been otherwise inconceivable. Read more...

Steven Forrest is the author of several astrological bestsellers and a mystery novel. His work has been translated into a dozen languages. He travels widely to speak and teach his brand of choice-centered “evolutionary” astrology—an astrology which integrates free will, grounded humanistic psychology and ancient metaphysics. Demetra George, M.A. Classics, received the 2002 Marion D. March Regulus Award for Theory and Understanding. She began her studies in astrology in 1971, and specialized in archetypal mythology for the first twenty-five years of her practice. In her pioneering classic, Asteroid Goddesses (1986, revised edition 2003), she explored the mythology, psychology, and astrology of the re-emerging feminine through the entrance of four goddess-named asteroids into the astrological pantheon.

Tad Mann was born in New York in 1943, and received an architecture degree from Cornell University in 1966. In the 1960s he worked for influential architects in New York City and Rome, Italy, and he won a Progressive Architecture Magazine Design Award Citation in 1970. He has written or co-written twenty books (translated into twenty languages) on astrology, tarot, sacred architecture, sacred gardens, ecological design, sacred sexuality, calendar systems, psychology, healing, prophecy and reincarnation. Richard Tarnas is a cultural historian, author, and professor of philosophy and depth psychology.
